Meet the Human

Roshin is a Delta qualified and IMDT-certified dog trainer, who is currently studying Psychological & Behavioural Science and Zoology at university.  She has a keen interest in anthrozoological (human-animal) relationships and working with rescue dogs. Her main goal is to set dogs up for success, with animal welfare and well-being as her main priority. 

Previously she has worked in multiple animal care facilities including veterinary clinics, zoos, dog daycares, and animal shelters. In recent years, she has been involved with companion animal behaviour and working as a trainer for two large rescue shelters in Perth. She currently works for Guide Dogs WA as a Facility Dog Officer, servicing courts, schools and detention centres to support vulnerable individuals with trained therapy dogs. 

She has two medium-sized handfuls of her own, both mixed breeds that she adopted during her journey. One of her girls' is a special, sensitive soul, which has allowed her to gain extensive knowledge and experience working with timidity/fearful behaviour while regularly liaising with veterinary behaviourists for support.
